Who doesn't like breakfast for dinner?

Hubby and daughter have gone to mil's house to get her Christmas decorations down from the attic. I am going to surprise them with breakfast for dinner when they get back. I am going to make Breakfast Pizza, throw together a fruit salad with odds and ends and make Pillsbury's cinnamon rolls pour some orange juice and put on a pot of decaf. The pizza uses crescent rolls. The stores around here have those Pillsbury thingies on sale every week and with coupons they are a bargain too hard to pass us. And oh so convenient! I have been looking up recipes using cresent rolls and will be incorporating those into my future menus. Here is the breakfast pizza recipe.

Breakfast Pizza

Serving Size : 6

1 pound ground pork sausage (my dad buys this fresh for us)
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerator crescent rolls
1 cup (4-ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup (4-ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese (don't have this so will just double the cheddar)
5 large eggs -- lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Brown sausage in a large skillet, stirring until it crumbles; drain. Set aside. Unroll crescent rolls, separating into 8 triangles. Place triangles with elongated points toward center on a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Press perforations together to form a crust. Bake at 375' for 8 minutes on lower rack of oven. (Crust will be puffy when removed from oven.) Reduce oven temperature to 350'. Spoon sausage over dough; sprinkle with cheeses. Combine eggs and remaining ingredients; pour over sausage mixture. Bake at 350' on lower rack of oven 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden. Cut into wedges to serve.
