Menu plan for the week of October 27th


I'm late getting this post up because our internet was down.  But here is my plan for this week:

Monday: We ate out at Shoney's with a friend.

Tuesday:  Sliced Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Zucchini

Wednesday:  Breakfast for Dinner - Pancakes, Eggs, Turkey Bacon, Clementines

Thursday:  Teriyaki Chicken (new recipe) and freezing a batch for another meal at another time, Brown Jasmine Rice

Friday:  Halloween!!!  Leaving this open, because daughter may be spending the night with a friend and so I don't know what I'm going to fix yet.

Saturday:  Taco Soup

Sunday:  Stuffed Green Peppers, Salad

Menu for week of October 20th



Monday: Boston Market Frozen Dinners (just me and daughter)

Tuesday: Chicken Fajitas (didn't get to this last week)

Wednesday:  Baked Potato, Chef Salad

Thursday:  Out

Friday: Lasagna, Salad

Saturday:  Shrimp Scampi and Stuffed Green Peppers (I don't eat seafood)

Sunday:  Out with Hubby!

Menu for week of October 13th


Last week just flew by for me.  How about you? 

My tip for menu planning is to have all your favorite recipes in a file, either on your computer or in a notebook to help with menu ideas.  Here is my menu plan for this week:

Monday:  Burgers and Sweet Potato Fries

Tuesday:  BBQ Pork on Buns, Broccoli Slaw, Baked Beans

Wednesday:  Favorite Chinese take-out!

Thursday:  Grilled Chicken, Salad, Green Veggies

Friday:  Out!

Saturday:  Chicken Fajitas

Sunday:  Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Veggie

Monday:  Slow Cooker Chili (didn't get to this over the weekend)

Tuesday:  Chicken and Noodles (crock pot), green veggie

Wednesday:  Taco Salad (use leftover chili)

Thursday:  Meat Loaf, Baked Potato, Green Veggie

Friday:  Pizza, Veggies and Dip

Saturday:  Smoked Sausage with Peppers and Onion, Yellow Rice

Sunday:  Pan Grilled Chicken, Green Veggie and Salad
