Menu for week of October 19th



Monday:  Lovely Weekend Leftovers :)

Tuesday:  (freezer meal) Italian Pot Roast, Noodles, Italian Green Beans

Wednesday:  Taco Soup (first of the season!)

Thursday:  Out-school play night

Friday:  Teriyaki Chicken, Rice, Stir Fry Veggies

Saturday:  Beans, Taters, Fried Cabbage, Mexican Cornbread (freeze a pan)

Sunday:  Mr. Food's Chicken Kiev, Rice Pilaf, Broccoli

Do you have a specific recipe for your "beans & taters" night? Or just just canned beans, and frozen potatoes? We're mostly vegetarian, thought that would be a nice change from rice & beans, but wasn't sure exactly how you make it. Thanks!

I like to cook dry beans, usually pintos or great northern or mixed beans and I just slice potatoes and onions and fry in canola oil. I season everything to taste with salt and pepper. Super easy.
